Short and to the point: how to start, what to do when something fails, and what the app does not do. This section works without signing in.
Getting started
- What is a profile?
- A separate browser with its own cookies, logins, cache and its own "machine": system version, screen size, fonts, graphics. Two profiles on one computer look to a site like two different computers.
- How is this different from incognito?
- Incognito simply forgets your history. It does not change the machine a site sees and does not isolate profiles from each other: the fingerprint stays the same, so accounts can still be linked by it.
- Where do I start?
- Sign in, create a profile, add a proxy, open the profile and look at the check page. The app shows these steps itself in the "First steps" strip and removes it once they are done.
Profiles
- How many profiles can I create?
- As many as your plan allows. Profiles beyond the quota stay in the list and are not deleted, but they will not open until you free a slot or move to a larger plan.
- Does a profile open on another computer?
- Yes, if you are signed in. The profile travels with its session through your own cloud folder, so the second machine sees the same logins. Our storage is not involved.
- What is a one-off profile?
- A profile for a single use: created with one button and removed together with its window, entirely, cookies and logins included. For "just take a look" without cluttering the list.
Proxies
- Do I need a proxy?
- No, but without one the profile goes out from your home address. To a platform that means all your profiles sit on one address, which is the easiest way to link them.
- Do proxies with a login and password work?
- Yes. The password does NOT reach the browser command line: it goes through a local bridge that lives only while the profile is open.
- How do I check the profile really went through the proxy?
- Open the profile: the start page shows your external address and country and measures the WebRTC leak. It is a measurement, not a promise.
Team
- How do I give a teammate access?
- Invite them by email in the Team section. The role decides what they can change; the folder list decides what they can see at all.
- Can I put a contractor on a single client?
- Yes. In the member card tick the folders they may see. While nothing is ticked they see everything; once something is ticked, only those folders, including by a direct link.
What the app does not do
- Do you promise full anonymity?
- No. We make profiles unlike each other and unlike an empty browser, but full anonymity does not exist and promising it would be a lie. Your address is hidden by the proxy, not by us.
- Will this protect an account from a ban?
- No. Platforms also look at behaviour: speed, timing, repeated actions. Fingerprint and address are half of it; the other half depends on how you work.
- What is not ready yet?
- Card payment, signed installers and a support address arrive with the launch. Canvas and audio noise in the compiled engine wait for a rebuild. We would rather say so than pretend everything is done.
