Shared with you to start only
What Can start allows
The profile starts and works as usual. Its settings are visible but switched off: the name, proxy, notes, tags, status and the rest are changed by the owner or by someone they gave edit access.
Why the edit does not start
The app does not start an edit at all and names the reason at once, not after you have typed everything. This way your change does not hang on this computer and does not argue with the owner's settings.
How to get edit access
Write to the profile's owner: their address is in the line and next to the shared with you · can start mark. They open the Share with the team dialog and change your level to Can edit or Full access.
The new level reaches the app at the next sync with the server list, and the mark on the profile changes.
Moving and library proxies
Moving to another group
needs full access: a group decides who sees the profile, and a move could hide it from other people it is shared with
A proxy from the library
goes on a profile shared with you only if it has no password or is already on another profile shared with you (a manager or an admin can pick any); you can type your own proxy by hand
The change was not saved
The app says this when the level was lowered while your window was open. The change is undone, the profile has the owner's settings again, and it does not repeat at the next sync.

- The owner gave edit access, and the line is still there.

- Yes, Remove from my list in the profile menu. The owner keeps the profile.
