Connect Proxy-Cheap proxies

A proxy in your Proxy-Cheap dashboard, under Overview or My Proxies. For a rotating residential proxy, Setup Credentials generates the hostname, port, username and password for the country and session type you choose; for other proxies, copy the server address, port, username and password shown in the dashboard.

Use these proxy credentials, not the email and password of your Proxy-Cheap account.

Host and port come from the dashboard, and Proxy-Cheap asks not to use a custom port. The protocol depends on the kind of proxy.

Rotating residential proxies have two session types in Setup Credentials: Random IP gives a new address with each new request or connection, Session IP or a Long Session ID keeps one address for up to 30 minutes. With a Long Session ID, leave State and City on Random.

Static residential and datacenter IPv4 proxies keep their address. Their password can be regenerated in the authentication window of the proxy; after that every application using it needs the new one.

For a profile that has to keep its address longer than 30 minutes, a static proxy is the one that does it: one proxy per profile.

The line below shows the host:port:login:password shape. Its host and port are placeholders: Proxy-Cheap gives each proxy its own, so copy yours from the dashboard.

   Open Proxies

   The Proxies tab in the left column.

   Press Paste a list

   The button above the list.

   Paste one line per profile

   Each line is one proxy from the dashboard; give each profile its own line.

   Press Import

   Lines that could not be read are listed word for word.

The Proxy cell of a profile in the list opens the proxy picker. New proxy as a line… at its bottom takes the same line, shows how it was read, and Add and assign saves it to the library and gives it to that profile.

Proxy-Cheap advises to check that the proxy is active and not expired, that the address and port are in the right fields, that the username and password have no extra spaces, and that the application uses the protocol shown in the dashboard. With IP whitelist authentication, the public address of your network must be on the list again after a change of network or VPN.

A mobile proxy speaks SOCKS5 and HTTPS, not HTTP: write socks5:// in front of its line. A SOCKS5 proxy with a password works on the ARMANOS Browser engine; the built in engine connects to SOCKS5 only without a password.
