Connect IPRoyal proxies

IPRoyal residential proxies keep every setting in the password, not in the login. This page shows where each part is, how to keep one address behind one profile, and a finished line to paste into ARMANOS on the Proxies screen with Paste a list.

What you need at IPRoyal

A residential plan with its username and password. IPRoyal itself writes a proxy string as HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD, the same shape ARMANOS reads, so its strings paste as they are.

Host and port

The geo host picks the region closest to where the request comes from. A region can also be chosen by host, as in the table.

The port depends on the protocol: 12321 for HTTP and HTTPS, 32325 for SOCKS5.

Login and password

The login stays as it is. The password is your password, then the settings, each starting with an underscore.

_country-de picks Germany. _session- with a random string of exactly 8 letters and digits creates or picks up a session. _lifetime- says how long it lives, from 1 second to 7 days, with one unit only, such as 30m.

For a profile this means one 8 character session per profile and a lifetime as long as the work in it. A new address is a new session string.

Paste into ARMANOS

The line below is written in the host:port:login:password shape. Put your own username and password in place of the capital letters and keep the settings after the password.

This is how ARMANOS reads the line. The password is everything after the fourth colon.

Open Proxies
The Proxies tab in the left column.

Press Paste a list
The button above the list.

Paste one line per profile
Change only the 8 characters of the session from line to line.

Press Import
Lines that could not be read are listed word for word.

One profile at a time

The Proxy cell of a profile in the list opens the proxy picker. New proxy as a line… at its bottom takes the same line, shows how it was read, and Add and assign saves it to the library and gives it to that profile.

What IPRoyal warns about

IPRoyal writes that its residential proxies work with TCP connections, and that the ports for HTTP and SOCKS5 differ. A SOCKS5 line needs socks5:// in front and port 32325. A SOCKS5 proxy with a password works on the ARMANOS Browser engine; the built in engine connects to SOCKS5 only without a password.

The country lives in the password

To move a profile to another country, change the password of its proxy, not the login: country, session and lifetime are all part of it. In ARMANOS that means editing the Password field of the proxy.

Everything about IPRoyal on this page comes from the four IPRoyal documentation pages linked below, checked on 2026-09-28. If IPRoyal changes a host, a port or a parameter, their page is right and this one is late.

Questions

The session part is refused. Why?: IPRoyal asks for exactly 8 random letters and digits after _session-. A shorter or longer string does not make a session.
Can I use SOCKS5?: Yes, on port 32325 with socks5:// in front of the line. A SOCKS5 proxy with a password works on the ARMANOS Browser engine; the built in engine connects to SOCKS5 only without a password.
Where do I see which address a profile really got?: Press Test next to the proxy on the Proxies screen. It shows the exit address, the country and the city.
