Connect Bright Data proxies
What you need at Bright Data
A zone of the proxy type you bought. In Bright Data terms a zone is one proxy product with its own name and password, and the login is built from the zone name.
Bright Data opens its residential network only after its compliance team approves the account (KYC), and says it is available to verified companies only. This covers every residential type, including shared and dedicated.
Host and port
Every zone uses the same host and port. The zone is chosen by the login, not by the address.
- Host
- brd.superproxy.io
- Port
- 44445
- Protocols
- HTTP; Bright Data also lists HTTPS and SOCKS5
Values from the Bright Data documentation, checked on 2026-09-28.
Login and password
The login is brd-customer-, then your customer ID, then -zone-, then the zone name. The password is the zone password. Bright Data shows the username, password and host in the Overview tab of the proxy product.
Settings ride in the login after the zone name: -country-de picks Germany, -city-berlin picks a city inside that country, -session- followed by any string of yours keeps one address for that string.
For a profile this means one session string per profile. Give the seventh profile the session profile7, and every launch asks Bright Data for the same address. A new address is a new string.
Paste into ARMANOS
The line below is written in the host:port:login:password shape. Put your own customer ID, zone name and zone password in place of the capital letters.
- Line
- brd.superproxy.io:44445:brd-customer-CUSTOMER_ID-zone-ZONE_NAME-country-de-session-profile7:ZONE_PASSWORD
- Type
- http
- Host
- brd.superproxy.io
- Port
- 44445
- Login
- brd-customer-CUSTOMER_ID-zone-ZONE_NAME-country-de-session-profile7
This is how ARMANOS reads the line. The password is everything after the fourth colon.
- 1
Open Proxies
The Proxies tab in the left column.
- 2
Press Paste a list
The button above the list.
- 3
Paste one line per profile
Change only the session string from line to line: profile7, profile8 and so on.
- 4
Press Import
Lines that could not be read are listed word for word.
One profile at a time
The Proxy cell of a profile in the list opens the proxy picker. New proxy as a line… at its bottom takes the same line, shows how it was read, and Add and assign saves it to the library and gives it to that profile.
What Bright Data warns about
Bright Data opens target sites on ports 80 and 443 by default and, on its datacenter network, every port above 1024. Other ports need a request, and each request goes through its compliance review.
Residential access needs approval
Where this was checked
Everything about the Bright Data control panel on this page comes from the three Bright Data documentation pages linked below, checked on 2026-09-28. If Bright Data changes a host, a port or a parameter, their page is right and this one is late.
ARMANOS is not affiliated with Bright Data. Prices and plans are on the Bright Data site.
What this page does not do
- It does not sell Bright Data access. Accounts, zones and payment all stay on the Bright Data site.
- It does not link your Bright Data account to ARMANOS. The program only receives the line you paste.
- It does not replace the Bright Data documentation. When the two disagree, theirs is current.
Where this is decided
The claims that carry the most weight, with the stand that checks each of them.
- The example line on this page is read by the parser of the program into exactly the host, port and login shown above
- apps/web/test/руководства-поставщиков.js
- New proxy as a line… reads the line, shows the parts and assigns the proxy to one profile
- apps/desktop/test/прокси-в-строке-профиля.js
- How to connect on the Bright Data card in Proxy providers opens this page in the language of the program
- apps/desktop/test/руководство-с-карточки-поставщика.js
Questions
- Why does the same session string give me a different address the next day?
- The address behind a residential session is a real home device, and it can go offline. Without -const in the login, Bright Data moves the session to another peer; with -const it returns an error instead. Bright Data describes its ISP proxies as static addresses.
- Can I use SOCKS5 with this line?
- Bright Data lists SOCKS5 among its protocols. Write socks5:// in front of the line. A SOCKS5 proxy with a password works on the ARMANOS Browser engine; the built in engine connects to SOCKS5 only without a password.
- Where do I see which address a profile really got?
- Press Test next to the proxy on the Proxies screen. It shows the exit address, the country and the city.
