Paste profiles as text
Paste the rows
One line is one profile. A piece of an Excel or Google Sheets sheet arrives with tabs between the columns and is read the same way as a file.
- 1
Press From a spreadsheet
On the bar above the list of profiles.
- 2
Open the Paste text tab
The tabs From a file and Paste text stand as two buttons at the top of the window.
- 3
Paste the rows and press Read
The same preview as for a file appears: the columns, their fields and what happens to each row.
- 4
Press the create button
Its label says what happens: Create profiles, or, when rows carry profile IDs, how many to create and how many to update.
What splits the columns
The choice Columns are split by stands on Find out by itself. It picks from tab, semicolon, comma and vertical bar.
Colon and space sit inside proxies and names, so they are used only when you choose them: Colon or Space. A proxy line like host:port:login:password then stays one cell when tabs split the columns.
The line of column names
The box The first line holds column names is ticked by itself when a column name in the first line is recognised, for example Name, Proxy or Group. Untick it if the first line is already a profile.
Names are understood the same way as in a file: by meaning and in several languages.
Text without column names
In text without a line of names only three kinds of column get a field from their content: proxy, cookies and a 2FA key, and only when every non-empty cell reads. The rest stand at Not used, and you pick their field yourself in This column.
A row without a name gets a numbered name in order, such as Profile 1. Your own name template goes into For every row.
Fields for every row
The For every row block stands in view under the columns: Name, if the row has none; Group, if the row has none; Add tags; Status; System, if the row has none.
Under the name field the chips Number, Date and Random word put a variable where the cursor is, and the preview shows the names at once. A row's own cell wins over these fields, and new profiles get them.
What this does not do
- It does not take more than 1000 rows at a time. With more, the window names the number before the preview and asks you to split the rows.
- It does not split rows by colon or space on its own. You choose those by hand.
- It creates nothing before the button. That is what the preview is for.
Where this is decided
The stands below run the real app instead of reading a file.
- Pasting from Excel with tabs and quotes, fields from content, names in order, the row limit from the shared package
- apps/desktop/test/ввоз-вставкой-и-обновление.js
- Tabs, the field choice of a column, the name chips in For every row, the label of the button
- apps/desktop/test/ввоз-окно.js
- The import window stays inside the edge at 1440 and 900 points, in two languages and two themes
- apps/desktop/test/сила-списка-вёрстка.js
Questions
- I only have a column of proxies, with no names.
- Paste it as it is. A column where every cell reads as a proxy becomes the proxy, and the profiles get numbered names in order, such as Profile 1.
- What if a row carries a profile ID?
- Then the row updates that profile instead of creating a new one. How that works is in the next article, on updating profiles from a table.
