Filter profiles
What you can filter by
The fields stand in the window from top to bottom in this order. Inside one field the ticked values combine with or, and different fields combine with and: Windows and macOS together with the tag work leave the profiles on either of the two systems that have that tag.
The check boxes of System, Exit country, Browser kernel and Tags have the number of profiles with that value on the right. A value that has no profile right now is grey and cannot be ticked. When the list has profiles of your people (you are a lead), one more choice appears at the bottom: Whose.
| Field | What it narrows to |
|---|---|
| State | Whether the profile is running right now or idle |
| System | The fingerprint template of the profile as check boxes, for example macOS · Chrome and Windows · Chrome |
| Exit country | The country the profile went out from at the last confirmed proxy check; also Not checked yet and No proxy |
| Exit IP contains | A part of the address from the same check, for example 203.0.113 |
| Browser kernel | Default and the ARMANOS Browser versions your profiles use |
| Proxy | Configured, No proxy or Not applied |
| Tags | Tags as check boxes, No tags and the choice Any of the ticked or All of the ticked |
| Status | Your statuses and No status as check boxes |
| Last run | Never, In the last 7 days or More than 30 days ago |
| Scenario | A scenario from the ones your profiles use |
| Password | With password or Without password |
Filter and clear a filter
- 1
Press the Filters button
It stands to the right of the search box above the list of profiles. The number on the button says how many fields narrow the list right now.
- 2
Tick the values
The list narrows at once, there is no Apply button. No tags clears the ticked tags, and a ticked tag clears No tags.
- 3
Read the row of chips above the list
Each field that is on stands as a chip: the name of the field and the ticked values, for example System and macOS · Chrome. On the right it says Shown 12 of 340.
- 4
Remove what you do not need
The cross on a chip removes that whole field. Clear all removes every field of the Filters window at once.
The exit country comes from the check
The exit country and the exit IP are the result of the last confirmed proxy check of this profile, that is the place it really went out from. A profile whose proxy has not been checked yet stands under Not checked yet: check its proxy, and the profile moves to its country.
This is not the country written on the proxy in the library: a rotating proxy goes out in one country and then in another, and the filter shows where the profile was the last time.
When nothing matches
If no profile matches the filters, the list is replaced by No profiles match your filters. and the Clear filters button.
A value that no profile has any more (you deleted the last profile of a country, removed the last tag) is cleared on its own the next time the list is read, and the number on the Filters button changes with it. So the list does not stay empty because of a filter you can no longer see.
The same filters over the local API and via MCP
profile/list and browser/list of the local API and the MCP tool list_profiles pick by the same rule as this window and give the same profiles.
The arguments: template (systems with commas), exitCountry (country codes, none for no proxy, unknown for not checked yet), exitIp (part of the exit IP), kernel (kernel versions or default), noTags=true (only profiles without tags, not together with tags) and lastRun (never, week or old).
- Request
- GET /api/v1/profile/list?exitCountry=DE,PL&lastRun=old&fields=name,proxy
- Answer, for example
- { code: 0, data: { list: [{ profileId, name, proxy }], total: 2, page: 1, pageSize: 2 } }
- A bad argument
- exitCountry=Germany: { code: -1, msg: bad_param, data: { param: exitCountry, message } }
The local API refuses the cloud argument proxyCountry in words and names exitCountry: the proxy country and the exit country are not the same.
What this does not do
- It does not take conditions. There is no except, is not or is empty for every field: the empty cases have their own entries (No tags, No proxy, Not checked yet, Never).
- It is not remembered. A filter lives while the app window is open, and there are no named sets of filters.
- It does not filter in the account. It filters the list on this computer.
Where this is decided
The stands below run the real app in a hidden window instead of reading a file.
- Each field narrows to exactly the expected profiles, or inside a field and and between fields, chips come off one at a time, Shown N of M
- apps/desktop/test/отбор-в-окне.js
- A value that is gone is cleared on its own, and the screen does not go empty
- apps/desktop/test/отбор-не-опустошает-экран.js
- The Filters window and the chips stay inside the edge at 1440 and 900 points, in two languages and two themes
- apps/desktop/test/сила-списка-вёрстка.js
- The local API and the MCP tool list_profiles with the window arguments give the same profiles as the window itself; a bad argument and proxyCountry are refused in words
- apps/desktop/test/api-отборы-окна-живьём.js
- Shop, shop and SHOP are one check box named as in the profiles; the window, the local API, MCP and the search on the server give the same profiles
- apps/desktop/test/метки-одним-правилом-живьём.js
Questions
- How is Exit country different from the proxy country?
- The exit country is the country the profile went out from at the last check. The proxy country is the country written on the proxy in the library. With a rotating proxy they differ.
- Will an action on the selected profiles reach hidden ones?
- Select all takes everything the filters and the search box left, across every page of the list. A profile you ticked earlier and then hid with a filter stays ticked, and the action reaches it. Clear removes every tick.
- What does a grey check box mean?
- That no profile has this value right now. Such a box cannot be ticked: it would leave an empty list.
