Platforms

Microsoft Ads accounts

One profile per advertising account, each with its own device, its own exit address and its own daily ceiling. The numbers below are the ones the app counts in the ads scenario, and they are its numbers rather than the platform's.

What the sign-in carries

Advertising here is reached through a Microsoft sign-in, and that sign-in is the same identity used for mail, documents and the rest of the account.

Sign in to two of them in one browser and the connection is made for you, before any campaign exists.

The app strips msclkid along with the other click identifiers, so a link you open to inspect a competitor's landing page does not travel back with the profile.

Second factor per profile

Sign-in on this platform goes through a second factor, and that is a good thing until you hold accounts for six clients on one machine.

Each profile carries its own one time code generator, so switching accounts is not a hunt through a phone for the right entry.

Ceilings on campaign work

Campaigns imported in bulk from another console arrive as a burst of changes, which is exactly the shape a daily ceiling exists to slow down.

The app counts the day and warns as you come near each ceiling, naming the limit rather than keeping quiet. It does not stop you.

First week of a new account

A new account is allowed eight actions on its first day and the full forty from the seventh onward.

The ramp is stored as fractions of the scenario ceiling, so there is only ever one number to change and the week follows it.

One payment edit a day

A change to the billing profile is the one action that reliably wakes a review, on this console as on every other.

The app allows a single edit a day and warns at 99 percent, because a limit of one cannot be approached gently.

Two accounts paid by one card are joined in the platform's own records, and a separate browser leaves that join untouched.

What the rules actually say

The platform supports agencies holding client accounts and grants access per person, with roles that decide who may touch billing at all.

Read its policies before you scale. We link them rather than paraphrase them, because a paraphrase on our page would age badly.

What this does not do

  • It does not keep an account out of a review. What you advertise and where it lands decide that, not the browser.
  • It does not replace the second factor. It stores the code generator beside the profile and nothing more.
  • It does not hide a billing profile shared between two accounts.
  • It does not lift the platform's own limits. The ceilings here are ours and they sit lower on purpose.

Check it

Every number on this page comes from the product, not from a marketing draft.

Questions

Can an agency hold client accounts here?
Yes, and access is granted per person with a role rather than by sharing one sign-in. Each seat still gets its own profile on this side.
Where do the one time codes live?
Beside the profile they belong to, so the right code is in front of you when the right account opens. They are generated by the standard algorithm, checked against its published vectors.
Does importing campaigns count against the ceiling?
Bulk work counts like any other work. That is the point: a hundred changes in a minute is the behaviour the ceiling is there to slow.
Why is the budget warning the earliest one?
Budget changes what an account spends immediately, so half the daily allowance is the right place to say something.
What does the app show at the ceiling?
The action, the counter it filled and the number left for the day. A hint you cannot read teaches nothing.

A profile per client account

The free plan gives two profiles, with no time limit and no card.
