Change the proxy of a profile
From the list
The Proxy cell of a profile in the list, and the proxy line on its card, open the proxy picker next to the cell. The current proxy stands first with a check mark, then the rest of the library.
The search field at the top looks through names, hosts, ports, logins, notes, exit countries and last IPs. Passwords are never searched.

A click or Enter gives it to the profile; Esc closes the picker without a change.
No proxy
No proxy stands in its own box under the list, with the words that say what it means: the profile will go online with this computer’s address.
A new proxy as a line
New proxy as a line… at the bottom of the picker takes one line in any shape Paste a list reads. Under the field it shows how the line was read: type, host, port, login, and whether there is a password.
Add and assign saves the proxy to the library and gives it to this profile in one step.
The same field in the profile windows
New profile, Edit profile and Add proxy have a Paste a proxy line field above the proxy fields. A pasted line fills in the fields and says what it filled; you check them and save.
An IP change link is not kept in the profile fields, and the window says so: only a proxy in the library keeps it. To change the IP with a button, add the line as a new proxy from the Proxy column of the list.
Undo
After a change a message names the old and the new proxy and carries Undo for 10 seconds. Undo brings the previous proxy back.
If the profile is open, the message adds that the change takes effect at the next launch.
Copy the proxy of a profile
Copy proxy in the profile menu, right after Test proxy, puts the proxy line on the clipboard. The message warns that the line holds the login and password.
The same Copy button stands next to Test proxy in the Edit profile window.
What this does not do
- It does not change the proxy of many profiles at once: that is Assign proxy in the bar above the list.
- It does not keep an IP change link in the profile fields. A proxy in the library keeps it.
- It does not open a profile closed by a password without the password: the picker asks for it first.

The claims that carry the most weight, with the stand that checks each of them.

Questions
- I picked the wrong proxy. How do I go back?
- Press Undo in the message within 10 seconds. Later, pick the previous proxy in the list again.
- Why is the change not visible in the open window?
- An open profile keeps the proxy it started with. The new one takes effect at the next launch.
