An account here is tied to a verified person, and the checks go well past a password: documents, a face, a tax identity and the country the work is done from.

Against that, the browser is the small part. What it can still do is keep your session steady, so the account does not appear to change countries between two logins.

The terms ask for a single account per person, and a duplicate found later costs the reputation attached to the first one.

So a profile here is for the cases the rules do allow: an agency where several people each hold their own account and share an office machine, or a client account kept apart from a freelancer one where the platform permits both.

It is also for the ordinary thing: keeping a work session out of the browser where you read mail and shop.

Proposals cost money and reputation here, and a burst of near identical ones is what a moderator sees long before a client does.

The app counts the day and warns as you come near each ceiling, naming the limit you are walking toward. It does not stop you.

A new account gets a fifth of the ceiling on its first day and the whole of it from the seventh.

Eight actions is not much, and that is deliberate: a brand new freelancer who sends a full day of proposals is the pattern the platform looks for.

Changing where the money lands is the single most reviewed action on a freelance account, and a hold on withdrawals is the usual answer to doing it twice in an evening.

That is why the ceiling is one edit a day with the warning at 99 percent.

Account switches sit at one a day for the same reason: a machine that signs into two freelancer accounts in a day is exactly what the one account rule is written about.

The platform allows agencies with members, and it does not allow a second personal account. Those two sentences decide most of what is possible here.
