A storefront not a feed
Boards, pins and the site behind them are read as one set, which is how two shops on one machine become one seller.
A seller who runs several markets therefore keeps one profile per account, not one browser per person.
One shop sold under two accounts is two profiles and two exits, because the pin already names the shop out loud.
What the platform sees
The browser comes before the login: graphics card, fonts, clock, screen and the address behind the session.
The shop it links to is seen as well, and a second account pointing at the same shop from the same machine closes the circle.
A board that repeats another board pin for pin reads as one hand, and the machine behind it only confirms that.
A safe day in numbers
The scenario carries a ceiling for each action, and the app keeps them beside the profile instead of in a help page.
It cannot count a pin for you, so these are the day you aim at rather than a switch that trips.
Fifteen pins a day is the number that surprises sellers most, because a catalogue import wants to publish a hundred.

First week of an account
A shop account that publishes a full board on day one is the shape a platform looks at twice.
The ramp counts from the day the profile is created and reaches the scenario ceiling on the seventh.
A catalogue goes up here over weeks rather than over an evening, and the ramp covers only the first of them.

Links lose their tails
The profile strips tracking tails off the addresses it opens, so one click does not carry the previous site into the next.
That is about what you browse and not about what you publish: a pin keeps the address you gave it.

What the rules actually say
Pinterest separates a personal account from a business one and has its own rules for a shop, its claims and the links it publishes.
We link those rules rather than paraphrase them, because they change and our paraphrase would go stale.
Several accounts for one seller can breach those rules, and we say so instead of promising the opposite.
What this does not do
- It does not make an account unbannable. The shop behind the pin decides more than the browser does.
- It does not stop you at the ceiling. The count and the warning are shown and the decision stays yours.
- It does not hide that two shops share an owner if the shops themselves say so.
- It does not cover the phone app. A browser profile is a browser.

Questions
- One profile for a shop or for an account?
- For an account. If one shop is sold under two accounts, that is two profiles with two addresses.
- Does link cleaning break my own campaign tags?
- Cleaning applies to the pages the profile opens, not to what you publish. A pin carries the address you set on it.
- Is a business account needed for each market?
- That is the platform question, not ours. What is ours: each account it needs gets its own profile and its own exit.
- What does the counter beside the profile show?
- Pages opened in that profile today against the ramped ceiling, amber at four fifths and red at the ceiling.
- Does the profile survive a move to another computer?
- Yes, together with its id: the id is the seed of the derived machine. Cookies carried without it give a different machine with the same logins.
