What Facebook reads first
Facebook reads the browser before the password: graphics card, fonts, clock, screen and the address the session arrives from.
It also sees the outside sites that carry its counter, which is why the profile cuts those requests on the way in.
A second account opened in the same browser inherits every one of those answers, and the platform does not have to guess.
Pages and ad accounts attached
A Page is not a separate login: a personal account administers it, and the ad account belongs to a business run by that same person.
When the personal account is restricted the whole tree under it goes quiet, so that account is the one worth the care.
An agency that runs client Pages keeps each client in a profile of its own, so a restriction on one does not reach the next.
A safe day in numbers
The scenario carries a ceiling for each action, and the app shows them beside the profile rather than hiding them in a help page.
It cannot count a like for you, so these are the day you aim at while the counter beside them is honest about what it does count.

First week of an account
The ramp counts from the day the profile is created, not from the day you have in mind for the account.
So the profile is made together with the account, and then the two ages agree.

Switching costs the most
Two account switches a day is the tightest number in this scenario, and it is tight on purpose.
Switching inside one browser is the single action that puts two accounts into one session, and such a pair is the easiest thing for a platform to remember.

What the rules actually say
Facebook asks for one personal account per person and offers Business Manager as its own way to run many Pages and ad accounts.
Read its terms before you scale. We link them rather than paraphrase them, because they change and our paraphrase would go stale.
Several personal accounts can breach those terms, and that is a risk taken knowingly rather than one we hide from you.
What this does not do
- It does not make an account unbannable. Behaviour, content and history decide more than the browser does.
- It does not stop you at the ceiling. The count and the warning are shown and the decision stays yours.
- It does not cover the phone app. A browser profile is a browser.
- It does not bring back a personal account that is already restricted, and the Pages under it stay out of reach with it.

- Can an account and its ad account share a profile?
- Yes, and that is the usual shape: the business stands behind the personal account, and both open in the same profile.
- Does a Page need a profile of its own?
- No. A person administers a Page, so the profile belongs to that person and to their account.
- Two accounts behind one address?
- It works and it is usually a mistake. A shared address is the cheapest link a platform can draw between two accounts.
- What does the counter actually count?
- Pages opened in the profile today, against the ramped ceiling. The per action numbers beside it are the day you keep yourself.
- Does the count reset at midnight?
- It runs per day and per profile, and it starts again with the new calendar day.
