What Amazon links accounts by
Seller Central reads more than the login: the device it is opened on, the address the session comes from, and the deposit and tax details behind the payout. Its record of who signed in from where reaches back further than most sellers expect.
Two selling accounts that answer with one device and one address are one seller to it, whatever the two logins say.
One selling account by default
Amazon expects one selling account per seller and asks for a business reason before it approves a second one. A second brand, a separate legal entity or a different market are the kinds of reason it reads.
A profile keeps two approved accounts in separate browsers on your machine. Whether you may hold both is Amazon's decision and stays there.
Why the ceilings exist
Listing, messaging buyers and asking for reviews at machine speed is what draws a review to a young selling account. Account health is watched from the first order, and a young account is where a pattern is cheapest to spot.
The app counts the day and warns as you come near the ceiling. It does not stop you: the decision stays yours. The numbers sit in the table beside this text.

First week of a seller account
A new selling account does not get the full ceiling on day one. The app ramps it over seven days, because a brand new account doing a full day of work is itself a signal.
The ramp is a fraction of the scenario ceiling, so the two move together instead of drifting apart.

Payout identity travels with you
The deposit account, the tax details and the business address belong to the seller, not to the browser that opens the panel.
A separate profile does not turn a second account into a second company, and it was never meant to. What it does is keep two approved accounts from meeting inside one browser.
What the rules actually say
Amazon's selling policies and its code of conduct are the documents that decide here, and they change without notice. A rule read last year is not the rule applied to the order you shipped today.
Read them at the source before you scale. We point at them rather than paraphrase them, because our paraphrase would quietly go stale.
What this does not do
- It does not get a second selling account approved. That request goes to Amazon with your documents.
- It does not hide the deposit and tax identity behind an order.
- It does not lift Amazon's own limits. The ceilings here are ours and they are lower on purpose.
- It does not separate accounts you have already opened from one profile.

- Can I run two selling accounts?
- Amazon decides that and asks for a business reason first. The app keeps the sessions apart once you have the right to hold both.
- Does one proxy for two accounts work?
- It works and it is usually a mistake. Two sellers leaving through one address is the pattern that gets them read as one.
- Why only two account switches a day?
- Switching back and forth inside one day is the shape of one person driving several sellers. The counter turns amber at the first switch and red at the third.
- Is the review request counter the same as Amazon's?
- No. Amazon allows one request per order inside its own window, and our forty a day sits on top of that as a pace limit.
- What happens when a counter runs out?
- Nothing is blocked. The counter turns amber at that action’s own threshold and red at the ceiling, and the decision stays yours: the app sets the pace, it does not lock the door.
