Multi-accounting
Multi-accounting is holding several accounts on one platform and keeping them from being read as one person.
Who does this and why
The work is older than the tooling. It shows up wherever one person or one team is responsible for accounts that must not be read as each other.
Agencies
One client, one account, and no client's session sitting in a browser beside another's.
Sellers
A shop per marketplace account, kept apart so a weak account does not pull the rest with it.
Advertisers
Ad accounts under separate logins, because a payment method is read as an identity.
Teams
Several people working the same accounts from different machines, with no password passed around.
Where the rule says one
This is the part worth reading before the technical half. Some platforms ask for one account per person, and that rule is theirs to make.
Where a platform asks for one, we do not sell a way around it. The platform page for each of them says so in its own words.

The session
Cookies, storage and saved logins, held per profile and shared with nothing.
The machine a site reads
Each profile derives its own device from its own number.
The exit address
A proxy per profile, so two accounts do not leave through one address.
Extensions and their state
Switched on per profile, because one identical add-on set is a link of its own.
What a browser cannot reach
Nothing on this list is in the browser, and no setting anywhere in the app touches it. This is where accounts are actually tied to each other.
Phone numbers
One number verifying ten accounts links those ten on the platform's own side.
Payment and payout details
The strongest link there is. A card is an identity whatever profile it sits in.
Behaviour
The same actions at the same hours, and the same message text in twenty inboxes.
Account age and standing
Both belong to the platform and not to your computer.
What you publish
The same photos and the same links across accounts connect them with no technical signal.
The pace beside each profile
Each profile carries a recommended number of pages for its kind of work, and the app counts the pages you open in it. The bar under the count turns amber at 80 percent and red at the top.
That colour is the whole of it. The figure is guidance and the choice stays with you, because no site published it and the app knows nothing about the account behind the profile.
Often confused with
Account farming
Creating accounts in bulk to sell them on. Platforms treat that as an offence of its own.
Ban evasion
Opening a new account to escape a decision made about the old one. Several platforms name that in their terms as evasion.
Shared team access
Several people on one account through roles. That is the opposite arrangement and it needs no second account.
What this does not do
- It is not a way around a one account per person rule. Where a platform asks for one, we do not sell you a second, and the page for that platform says so plainly.
- It does not separate a phone number, a card or a payout account. Those live on the platform side and they tie accounts together whatever a browser does.
- It does not undo a link that already exists. Two accounts once opened in one profile stay connected afterwards.
- The app does not count platform actions. Only pages opened in a profile are counted, and the per-action figures beside them are advice.

Questions
- Is multi-accounting allowed?
- It depends entirely on the platform, and the answer is in its terms rather than in a browser. Some allow several accounts outright, some ask for one per person, and some allow a second only for an approved business.
- How many profiles do I need?
- One per account. Two accounts in one profile share its cookies, its storage and the device it derives, which is the link you were avoiding.
- Can two accounts share one proxy?
- They can, and it is usually the mistake that undoes the rest. Two accounts leaving through one address is the pattern a platform reads as one person.
- Does a separate profile make two accounts unrelated?
- No. It removes two reasons out of many, and the ones that remain are not in a browser at all.
- What ties accounts together most often?
- Payment and payout details first, then phone numbers, then behaviour. All three sit outside the browser and none of them is a fingerprint.
